This is a MERV 13 filter is offered as an upgrade option to replace the MERV 6 filter that comes inside the ERV/HRV Ventilator. It is a single use filter and not washable. This filter also allows units to be Title 24 regulation compliant in California.
- The filters offer a significantly higher filtration efficiency (MERV 13) than the standard MERV 6 filters that are included in the ERV units
- The filters come in a pack of four and can last up to three months
- It is recommended to install the MERV 13 filter in place of the polyester MERV 6 filter on the fresh air intake side. Once installed the unit needs to be balanced for air flow to ensure properly balanced mechanical ventilation inside the home
